Pros:Loved the price. Flew from DFW to Tampa round trip for $121.
Cons:The space on the plane is tough on me with no reclining chairs but then again I am 6'4" and 240 lbs.

Pros:The crew was the only saving grace on this flight. Flight attendants and Pilots were all very appologetic and kind. Excellent at getting everyone seated and situatiated asap so we didn't waste any time once we were finally able to board. If it weren't for their kindness I would have had some very choice words for the first Spirit Rep I could find.
Cons:Awful flight. Delayed 4.5 hours, poor communication from Spirit. Constant departure time changes, going from the original time of 6pm to 9pm, then back to 6pm.. very confusing and impossible to plan arriavl to the airport. No phone numbers to confirm departure times with an actual Spirit Rep. Extremely frustrating.

Pros:The flight was smooth. Great take off and landing.
Cons:Flight update miscommunications stating our flight was delayed by over 35 minutes when the flight was actually pushed to depart 10 minutes earlier than the original departure time. The gate attendant did not even attempt to explain the error and just rudely ignored all the passengers asking about the departure time changes. I received a final email update after our flight had departed from the Seattle. Poor customer service.

Cons:There was no flight from Detroit to NYC, it was cancelled and in the end 7 of us got together and rented a van to drive there. The cabin staff and ground staff were terribly unhelpful and generally seemed to not have the training to deal with a situation like this. Not a single person felt compensated or helped out in any way. Worst flying experience of my life and will never fly Spirit again....neither will anyone else I know.

Pros:Flight crew was alright, but hard to understand at times. I thought it was a good idea to charge extra for food, to cut costs and pass on savings.
Cons:Spirit takes advantage of non-frequent flyers and has a callous disregard for its passengers' time and money. One example is the strict 45-minute check in cut off that's in the fine print way at the bottom on their check in reminder email. They also overbook flights like crazy and set up impossible connecting flights so some customers won't make it for sure.
